    • no it's to connect to our mail server. We've just moved them from an old system to our own server and by changing the account settings it just seems to get stuck in an infinite loop

Heh - I just had to phone the client back and explain to her that whilst I'm remotely changing things on her machine she can't be working on the word document.. :)

Man this is frustrating. I really don't like osx. Linux makes more sense to me.

see, I took one look at it on Friday night and said, "I'm not touching that with an OS X-foot barge pole". I hate the Mail app. I only use web mail, I mean, what could possibly go wrong with that...

    :D

I think I could deal with the painful slowness in real life, but combined with a remote connection it's just driving me up the wall.

Mail just seems to be completely freaking out. I have thunderbird set up and was able to add an IMAP account no problem. However if I really want to force the switch from Mail to Thunderbird I've got the pain and misery of manually moving hundreds of mbox folders. Also, I haven't a clue which folders are work and which are personal.

    So frustrating..
