Heh. Well the worst thing is that most of the invoices outstanding are pretty small - just that there's lots and lots of them. So it's just a matter of hounding people. I mean, I've still got one outstanding invoice from January for €200 - I'm so bored calling/texting/emailing this guy. I've heard him say it's in the post so many times now that I don't know what else to say.
Bummer. Is there anyway you can suspend of disable whatever you did for them until you get compensated? If yes, that may motivated the delinquent party to ante up.
@BUGabundo: I wouldn't have expected court, but, like I say, definitely something I would only threaten as an absolute last resort. It doesn't feel like a very courteous way to do business.
I'd love to get all your stuff wrapped up Evert, that would be class. I'm also really looking forward to getting my teeth into some proper coding for you :)

In some cases yeah, that threat could be made. Thing is it's not maliciousness on the client's part. I really want to avoid any bad feelings.
