@lnoonan: Any idea of a
map showing bio-diesel suppliers?
I think my engine is probably suitable for bio-diesel without
modification. An old school friend of my brother's runs a diesel
conversion business in Wexford, costs about 1k though, so I'd want
to be sure I'd be getting a good run out of the car (Skoda Felicia
'97 - 1.9l diesel - a beauty!)
I had a 1.9l Audi until last year, probably similar engine to
yours - seemed to run on air. Once got 1000km out of a tank. But
since it would take me 3 months to do the 1000km so I sold it due
to lack of use. My wife has a 2.5l diesel and the price rises are
starting to hurt. Too big and heavy to get the fuel efficiency so
something smaller is needed. But since we don't do high mileage I'm
inclined to move back to petrol, and keep the bicycles in good
shape.

I passed 143.9 on the way to work this morning, so that was cheap.
